Astan Quds Razavi and Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran have jointly intensified public health measures and protocols against coronavirus in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine.

With the transfer of Army’s modern facilities and equipment to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), disinfection operation of the complex started in cooperation with AQR’ management.
On the sideline of this joint project, Mohammad Mahdi Baradaran senior manager of the holy shrine said: “The holy shrine’s health council conducted disinfection project of the shrine through cooperation with ground force of the Army in Iran’s northeast concurrent with passive defense and crisis management week”.
Referring to the Health Ministry’s statistics over 90-percent observance of health protocols in Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, Baradaran added: “To provide pilgrims with highest possible level of protection against coronavirus, AQR has always emphasized on observance of health protocols”.
Baradaran also pointed to the good relations of AQR with the elite in knowledge-based companies in the field of health, stating: ” Results of these connections and collaborations are production of high quality disinfectants based on plant materials and also the use of intelligent disinfection devices inside the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
Amir Reza Azarian, the regional commander of Army’s ground forces also said: “With respect to coronavirus outbreak, the Army has received a decree to employ all its facilities and equipment in cooperation with Health Ministry and other organizations to ensure health of the people during the pandemic”.
Azarian concluded his remarks by saying: “Lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) should be assured about observing health protocols in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) because AQR and Army branch in Iran’s northeast disinfect the sacred premises continuously. We will continue this mission and cooperation until the coronavirus is eradicated from all over the country”.
