The technical staff of the department of the Area between the Two Holy Shrines affiliated to the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine participated in the development campaign currently taking place at the entrance to the Gate of Baghdad, in which the works reached advanced stages, as the staff of the General Maintenance Division in the department participated in painting the sidewalks of the main street leading to the two holy shrines, after paving with curbstone.
The division’s official, Engineer Alaa Hamzah Salman stated to al-Kafeel Network: “The development works for the entrances to the Holy City, including the entrance of Baghdad Gate, are conducted with the active participation of our cadres, as we painted the street pavement on a length of (318) meters, using highly efficient materials, according to the plans developed for it.”
Pointing out: “Paying attention to the cleanliness and aesthetics of the area surrounding the two holy shrines is one of the most important works that we are keen on. Therefore, our cadres have been providing everything that would serve the visitors of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both), and we strive to show it in a beautiful and decent manner.”
