Under the direction of the representative of the supreme religious authority and the legal guardian of the Holy Hussaini shrine, Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai, the maintenance department of the Hussaini shrine announced the completion of installing a temporary window on one side for the shrine (al-Tal al-Zinabi) and the encasement of the surrounding floor in cooperation with the Engineering and Technical Projects Department for the purpose of opening it to visitors today, Thursday, until the completion of the Dish project of Aqeelah Zainab (peace be upon her).
The department official, Karim Al-Anbari, said in an interview with the official website, “The cadres of our department, in cooperation with the Engineering and Technical Projects Department, completed the work of erecting a temporary window on one side for the shrine (Tal Al-Zeinabi) and wrapping the surrounding floor for the purpose of opening it to visitors.”
He explained that “the cadres of the blacksmithing workshop of the maintenance department have completed a large iron wall with a height of (6 m) and a width of (24 m) from the side of Bab Al-Zainabiya near the Holy Shrine, and from the side of Al-Shuhada Street, the height will be (6 m), and the width (45 m), in addition to covering it with teak wood, with installing wooden windows, according to the engineering measurements for the shrine, for the entry of men and women into the shrine (Tal Al-Zeinabi).
He added, “The cadres of the engineering and technical projects department at the Holy Hussaini Shrine have erected and encased the floor surrounding the hill Al-Zainabi to facilitate the entry of visitors of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to the shrine.
He continued, “Tal Al-Zainabi was inaugurated today, Thursday, 10/29/2020, corresponding to (Rabi` al-Awwal 11, 1442), in front of the visitors temporarily until the completion of the Aqeelah Zainab bowl (peace be upon her) project.”
It is noteworthy that the maintenance department at the Hussaini Holy Shrine depends in its work on skilled cadres, whether engineering or technical, with high efficiency and in all its divisions and units, to reduce the total costs of maintenance and work and increase the life of buildings and service facilities.
