The Hussaini Holy Shrine, through the Explosives Detection Division, revealed the development and use of modern sensors with advanced technology and of global origins to check bags, cars, and funerals, in the main entrances leading to the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

“Our division is one of the important people in the department of maintaining order, which strives to provide the best services to visitors,” said the official of the Explosives Detection Division of the Department of Preservation of Order at the Holy Hussaini Shrine, Abdul Hussein Fadel, in an interview with the official website.

He explained that “we have recently completed installing modern and advanced devices number (3) type (Rapesan) in addition to ( ADE ) sensors at all entrances and exits of the Holy Hussaini Shrine, which work to inspect bags, funerals, cars, and enter processions in millions of visits and religious events.”

He added, “The affiliates were subjected to training courses on how to work on these devices, and how to deal with any emergency or suspicious material was detected, especially during visits and religious events.”

It is noteworthy that the Holy Hussaini Shrine, under the direction of the representative of the supreme religious authority, and its Shari’a ruler, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, is working to introduce modern technology into the services it provides to visitors.
